  It gives me great pleasure to write to you as president of the Village of Riverview. From the earliest developmental stage, it has been our collective goal to provide Barboursville with a loving and caring community for those in need of senior living services. We are striving to provide the highest level of care within the region while encouraging our residents to build lifelong relationships and memories. For those not able to join us for the official grand-opening a few months ago, it was a formal evening of introductions, music and tours. I will be ever thankful for our earliest residents and those who joined us during that exciting time in our history. In a similar fashion to many meaningful projects, the idea of a new senior living center in Barboursville was initiated through a friendship. That friendship, research and the reality of their own loved ones specific needs clarified the need for expanded Sr. living opportunities in the area. The owners, all from Barboursville or the Appalachian Region, understand the specific needs and accommodation desires of senior living residents. Thinking of our regional economic responsibilities early, we were able to develop our extensive facility all through the use of local and regional suppliers, labors and contractors. Now, after two and one/half years of architectural planning and construction we have a thriving home for many. Lastly, I extend to you an invitation. Please come join us at The Village of Riverview. Experience the care that has made such a powerful impression on so many in such a short period of time. It is my hope you will experience our joy and commitment as we purposefully leverage the lifestyle of assisted living all while combating the typical challenges often experienced by isolated, lonely or challenged seniors.

  RN, a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing and Marshall University. Over 10 years of experience in an acute care setting at St. Mary's Medical Center. Over 5 years of experience as Executive Director of a local assisted living. Grew up in Wayne, WV currently living in Milton. Two children, Griffin age 15, and Hannah Grace age 13.
